During this city game, you will search for the missing sketchbook of Dick Bruna, eighteen fragments of which are scattered throughout the city. Discover Utrecht through fresh eyes and prove that you are sharp enough to unravel the mystery of Miffy’s creator.
During the Utrecht City Game, you will embark on a thrilling quest for 18 pieces of the missing sketchbook. Step by step, you unravel the story until everything comes together at the end and the full truth is revealed. Along the way, you’ll encounter a diverse mix of puzzles, sometimes supported by hints in the form of videos or audio clips. All assignments are linked to your current location, truly bringing the city to life.

- A tour of approximately 5 km passing Utrecht’s highlights
- Highlights include: City Hall, Oude Gracht, Dom Tower, Ganzenmarkt, Oud Daen, and many more

The app worked flawlessly, and the GPS tracking was very accurate. The puzzles were clever and made great use of the city's architecture and monuments. My only minor critique is that it was quite busy near the Dom Tower, which made one of the clues a bit hard to spot, but overall a fantastic experience!

As expats living in the Netherlands, we brought our visiting family to Utrecht for this citygame. It was the perfect introduction to the city. We learned a lot about Utrecht's history while having a blast. Plus, you can pause the game whenever you want to grab a coffee or a beer along the canals!
